I have been playing with some of the things she sent me and my current loves are the Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks blush in Pink Cloud and the 17 Instant Instant Glow Pink Bronze Bronzing Rocks. Both of these are drugstore finds and I am so pleased with them. Thanks Ashleigh, I would never have tried these products if you hadn't picked them out for me!!
The Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks blush costs only £1.99 at Boots and is such great value for money. It is pigmented but the colour means that you can be a bit heavy handed with this one and still not look like a clown. So it's great for us girls who are just beginning with makeup or are a bit gung-ho with blushes. Lovely product and I feel like I want all the shades (there are 4).
I love highlighters but I have never tried one of the 'pebble' products yet, so I was super excited to see that Ashleigh had sent me the 17 Instant Glow Bronzing Rocks. This product needs a little caveat - these rocks that you can see in the pictures below love jumping out so be careful or you'll have shimmer everywhere. They are quite pigmented but I haven't found a blush in my collection that does justice to these so I have found that using my fingers produces the best result. I swirl my index finger over the rocks (you can pick the pink ones or the bronze ones or a bit of both) and run the finger over my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose. I find that these work really well as eyeshadow too. These bronzing rocks only cost £4.99 at Boots and you get enough product to last you a lifetime. These are a decent dupe for the shimmer bricks or shimmer strips that are sold by most brands.
