I picked 2 colours - Baroque and Avant Garde. Both are stunning. Baroque is a metallic brown coppery shade and is my favourite. Avant Garde is a deep blue shade that is almost matte, great for smudging out for a blue based smokey eye. I find that using a stiff blending brush does the trick.
The packaging is to die for, with a sleek dark olive pen with gold writing. I actually quite like that it is plastic as it's not heavy to tote around. I adore that it's twist up and does not require sharpening. However if you want to use this as an eye liner, Jouer have included a sharpener at the back of the pen (see pics below). These apply wonderfully as they are super creamy and the application is smooth and even. I do wish these lasted longer on me though. I find that even with a primer they start fading dramatically after 6 hours of wear. But I still love them and would love to try some more colours.
Have you tried these yet? What do you think of them?

Wish that brand was available in my country! They look so creamy. Heard good stuff about their matte moisture tint!

Yeah, they are rather dear...
ReplyDeleteI love the brand, most of the products that I have tried, I have loved.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Kenny. I love your comments :)
ReplyDeleteHey babe, these are available on Cult Beauty who I believe ship internationally, so maybe try them?
ReplyDeleteAre these as good as the MAC limited edition ones? I missed those and really want a similar shade. I've been eyeing the clinique and Rimmel ones as replacements. Always good to have other options too :-P
