I first bought and tried the Jordana 12 Hour Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in December as my local Walgreens had a Jordana sale and I was thoroughly impressed, so much so that I had to share this product with you.
If you are in the market for a soft smudge proof long wearing eye liner and aren't too bothered about a thin line then these are perfect for you.
These eyeliners come in 6 shades - Black Point (black), Espresso Last (brown), Charcoal Definition (grey/silver), Jade Jewel (green), Purple Fix (purple) and Aqua Stone (teal blue). I bought these at $2.99 each + tax which is a great price.
I only bought two shades to try out the product and to be honest, I have a few coloured eyeliners that I need to finish off before adding to the collection. So I bought Black Point and Espresso Last.
The eyeliner comes in a normal pencil form and needs to be sharpened after every other use as the product is so soft that it just melts onto the skin and the tip is eroded very quickly. But I adore that the application is so gentle due to the soft nature of these pencils, there is absolutely no tugging of any soft. Most soft eyeliners smudge super easily though, but these hero liners as I like to call them don't transfer at all and there is no smudging at all no matter how long you wear them. I found that the only way to remove these was with a eye makeup remover! But if you are thinking, oooh it must be difficult to remove these since they don't transfer and are so long lasting then you are wrong, these are easy to remove with my Lancome Bi-facil. No tugging required there either. The pigmentation is great too, although they aren't as pigmented as a liquid liner in my opinion, I still find that the colour is solid and deep. These are also Paraben Free all for less than $3 each!! Amazing.
The only cons I can think of are that these are only available in the States, the need for sharpening regularly and since the tip is eroded quickly it's difficult to get a thin line with these liners. I also have to say that I am not sure if these can be worn in the waterline.
I love these so much, that I am sorely tempted to throw out all my other pencil liners and that's saying something. I recommend these to all of you.
