The Menu - Cult Beauty Wish List

This is going to be my first wishlist post. I love reading about products other bloggers are lusting after and I decided it was time to confess about my own beauty obsessions.

Today I was trolling through Cult Beauty's website during lunch time (pretty sad, I know) and have created quite a long wish list!! So lets get started.

The Stila Countless Colour Pigments are new to me, infact today was the first time I came across this. I have to admit, I love them for the gorgeous watercolour-y effect in the pan. I read a few reviews about them and apparently they work well as blushes. I really fancy getting one. I think using them on the eyelids might be tough though as the pan is small and the colours mix together quite a bit. Stila recommends using your finger or a sponge tip applicator to use these as eyeshadows. These come in 5 different shades but I really fancy the orange/pink combo myself. Have any of you used these? Do you recommend them?

The RMS Luminiser is an old favourite of lots of beauty bloggers and a product I have wanted for ages but I cannot justify getting it as I have many highlighters and I tend to find that in true blogger fashion, I will have a new favourite every month!! But that doesn't mean that I don't fancy this one. I have seen videos and read reviews about this and by all accounts this is a wonderful highlighter and works on a variety of skin tones. It's a bit pricey at £30.00 though, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, try using Maybelline's Colour Tattoo in Barely Branded, they kind of look similar and I think Barely Branded makes a nice highlighter if you use a light hand.

The Ren Glycolactic Skin Renewal Mask must be the most talked about / blogged about skincare product this year! Since I no longer am able to buy the Avon Brightening mask as it's discontinued, I think I am going to get this eventually. The Ren mask claims to re-new your skin by exfoliating it using chemicals, don't be scared, it's quite a gentle exfoliation. This mask costs £25.00 which is about what the Avon one was priced at so it's a fair price in my opinion.

Next we have an absolute classic - Liquid Gold by Alpha-H. This is a serum that helps combat hyper pigmentation, tighten large pores and generally deal with lack lustre skin. I really really want to try it. Have any of you used this? Does it work? I have heard such great things about it. Drooool....

I think I am a mask junkie! The next item is yet another mask, but this is an exfoliating one. It's by a brand called Aesop which is based in the UK and is difficult to find here in the States. Aesop is expensive and it justifies it's prices by saying that it only uses the finest of ingredients, makes products in small batches with high quality control and also it's a niche brand so it's able to charge more. I heard about this particular product through Estee from Essiebutton.com. It's called the Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Masque. It's a clay based mask that draws out impurities and excess oil from the skin. I have a similar one from Clarisea that I am quite happy with but would love to try this one.

The next is a hair care item from a brand called Davines. This is a similar niche brand like Aesop but this one is available in the States. Their products do come at a premium price though. I really fancy this Natural-Tech Well-Being Conditioner though. First of all, the packaging is so attractive, next of all it's said to smell amazing. It's a light weight conditioner that helps protect hair and fight scalp issues.

The last 2 things are from Jouer. Ohhh Jouer how I love you!! I don't know what it is about this brand, but they manage to always come up with products that I want to buy! I first got hooked on them when I got their lip gloss in a Birchbox and the rest is history. That reminds me, I will do a - all about Jouer blog post soon. Anyway, the two products I really want to try are their Luminising and Matte Moisture tints, which are basically tinted moisturisers but posh ones and their Creme Eyeshadow Crayons. I love all the colours, they look so bright and creamy. I have heard that the Rimmel Eyeshadow Crayons are great too. Maybe I should start with those as they are about a tenth of the price of the Jouer ones.

If you guys have tried any of the above products let me know. Also, let me know about your wish lists!
