The Unboxing - Ipsy Glam Bag November 2013

It has been a crazy November for us and I have to admit blogging has taken a back seat for me, but today I bring you my November Ipsy Glam Bag. I have to warn you, this is going to be a very positive and gushy post. As soon as I opened my hot pink envelope this month I knew I was in for a treat. Just look at the fun golden Ipsy Bag, I love the gold and pink combo, great for the holidays :)

Here's what was inside. I squealed every time I took out an item!! Just look at the fabulous products. First of all this month I received 6 products not 5! All for the fun price of $10, delivered to my door. Ipsy - I ADORE YOU!

I have been lusting over the Pixi Summertime Bronzer after hearing that it works well for darker skintones. So I was very excited to see that they sent me the right shade and it's a huge sample, will last me forever. I love the blend ability and pigmentation but I am worried that the colour might be too light for my NC42 skintone. We'll see I'll try and use it in an FOTD and let you guys decide. The full size retails for $18, so this alone makes the bag worth it!

The next item is from one of my favourite brands. It's a Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in the shade Shameless. It's a full size and retails for $14. I think this might be the best Lip Crayon I have ever used! It's hydrating and imparts lots of colour on the lips. The shade Shameless if made for me, I love it. See the swatches below :) I might buy a few more, these are sooooo good.

Another squeal, another item. This time it's the famous mud mask from Glam Glow, but this one is a generous 0.5 oz sample of GLAMGLOW YOUTHMUD™ TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT. This size is available at Sephora for $19! I might try it when I'm in Puerto Rico this weekend.

I was also sent the Lash Gallery Clean Volume Mascara from Michelle Phan's makeup brand EM. I have heard good things about this mascara and I am always happy to try mascaras as they are only a 3 month commitment, so if I don't like then I can just toss :) This is a full size and retails for $20. Have any of you tried this one?

Another nail polish and this time it's Nailtini's Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Champagne and it's an amazing colour. I have many champagne/pearl shades but I do love Nailtini's quality and I am sure I can make great use of this nail polish. It's a full size too and retails for $13.

Finally there was a Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in Topaz and I love how creamy the application is of this eye pencil. Another great quality is that it's a very large eye pencil so you get a lot for your money with the Starlooks Eye and Lip Pencils and they are great quality. While this silver colour might not be everyone's cup of tea, I love to layer it over my black eye liner to give it that oomph. These retail for $14 and I received a full size.

L to R : Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in Topaz, Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless and Pixi Bronzer in Summertime.
That's it for my Ipsy Glambag, needless to say, I'm stoked with this month's products and am looking forward to December's festive offering. I am going to renew my subscription for next year too.

  3. Love it all, especially the Nailtini's. I usually wear dark nail polishes, but I'm thinking of trying lighter ones.
