The Menu - Keep these handy

My family knows me as the person who always has a hand cream in her handbag. I wash my hands a lot during the day and I think that makes me hands quite dry so a good hand cream is essential. I have tried many over the years and here are a few of my pick of the bunch.

Before I start, I have to give a shout out to the Body Shop hand creams, the one I like the most is the Hemp Hand Protector which is their most hydrating hand cream and it's fab and you can find it for around $10 on sale sometimes, since a little goes a long way with this hand cream, that is AMAZING value.

Onto the five that I have chosen for the post today, I have picked some of the creams I have recently been loving and wanted to spread the love.

L'Occitane's 20% shea butter hand cream ($28 for 5.2 oz) - As you can see I have a small 10 ml sample of this hand cream and the little sample was enough to make me swoon. the 20% Shea Butter makes this hand cream ultra nourishing but I was surprised that it was not thick or greasy but a lovely consistency that absorbed into my skin nicely. If you want to treat your hands this one is my top pick.

Elemis revitalise-me hand cream ($32 for 6.59 oz) is a recent discovery. I like to use this as my work desk hand cream as it's thinner in consistency and absorbs instantly into my skin with no greasy residue. It is quite hydrating and smells DIVINE! I think I wash my hands more at work just so I can use this beauty!!

Nude Reve de miel hand and nail cream ($19 for 2.5 oz) is my absolute favourite hand cream. Nuxe is cheaper in Europe than in the US but in the States you can always find one of these on offer for 20 - 40 % off! I adore the scent, it smells like honey and lemon and smells amazing. I also love the hydrating quality of this hand cream and that it is paraben-free and made of 89% natural ingredients. LOVE. I would buy this again and again.

Caudalie hand and nail cream ($15 for 2.5 oz) was part of a Caudalie gift set that I bought in Nordstrom Rack for $15. Caudalie is one of my favourite natural brands that produces amazing quality products and this hand cream is no different. It has a lovely soft herbal scent to it and more a thick lotion than a thick hand cream. I love that it is paraben-free, contains no synthetic dyes and other nasties. It claims to have anti aging properties as it contains Grape Seed Oil and Grape Seed Extract. I cannot vouch for that claim but I do think it's a stellar hand cream.

Hands of hope hand and cuticle cream ($10 for 1 oz or $20 for 4 oz) is a completely non-scented option for those of us who feel strongly about the use of perfumes and fragrances in skincare. I really loved this hand cream.
