My blog is a month old.. I don't believe it, an entire month! I think I have done OK, I only have 10 followers on GFC and 5 on Bloglovin' but who cares, because I love blogging. It really isn't about the statistics so much (although it is nice when I get comments from people I don't know and to know that they have chosen to read my blog!).
I started blogging because I enjoyed reading other beauty blogs. People are so creative and inspiring. I wanted to challenge myself to do something that seemed like fun but I knew it would be hard work. Well folks let me tell you, Blogging is bloody hard work. So this post is going to be about the blogs that inspired me to start my own blog. Some of these are well known, some are new and some are old but to me they are all inspiring. Happy blog hopping :)
I only have 12 followers through blogger (no idea how to tell what others I have through other sources) so I wouldn't worry about that. The main thing is that you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI guess you're doing it properly if it feels like hard work. Doesn't feel like effort to me at all :) But then I don't go in for loads of pictures (maybe I should) or run comps or anything. I'm sure I'll be asking you for advice before too long.
I would like to work on my content but I don't want to post more than 3 times a week really as I don't think I have enough to say and I reckon it would be a bit too much.

Hey hun.. I think I post often as I'm new at this and I have lots of ideas :) The hard work part is more the design bits for me. I am a novice and everything seems to stump me!! Haha. Entered the competition yet?
