Just to let you know the bumps you will see under my eyes are milia - these are formed when keratin (a substance produced by the skin) becomes entrapped beneath the outer layer of the skin, forming a tiny cyst. I have inherited them (my nan has them too) and they are incredibly annoying especially when I am taking pictures of my face for the blog. So I apologise if they bother any of you, but unfortunately there is not much I can do to get rid of them. I have tried getting a physician to lance them off but it just made them worse :(
Base -
I start with my E.L.F mineral infused primer in the shade brightening lavender, you can read my full review here, but in short I LOVE this product.
Then I conceal using the Maybelline's Fit Me concealer in Deep (35).
Then onto Revlon's Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in Medium Deep, which I pat onto my face using an E.L.F angled face brush, but you could use any kabuki brush or a sponge. Since I am not using any other product for coverage, I apply a generous amount.
I set my concealer under the eye with Benefit's Dandelion face powder (use very very little, as you don't want your concealer to cake).
Eyes -
I prime using Urban Decay's primer potion in original.
I pat on Loreal's Infalliable eyeshadow in Amber Rush onto my lid.
In my crease I use my Bourjois Bronzing Powder or Delice de Poudre in shade 52 (this is the bronzer that smells like Cadbury's Dairy Milk and looks like a chocolate bar, what's not to love!!) and blend away any edges.
I line my waterline with the Lord & Berry Silk Kajal Kohl Liner in Cream(I bought this as I couldn't get hold of Rimmel Scandaleyes liner).
Curl my lashes with Shu Uemura eyelash curler and apply Dior Show Extase Mascara in the shade Black - featured in my post here.
Cheeks -
I attempt to contour with my Bourjois Bronzing Powder or Delice de Poudre in shade 52.
Add some blush, I used The Balm's Instain Blush in Lace, featured in my July favourites post here.
Lips -
I went with my favourite lip crayon type product which is again made by Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayon in the shade Red Sunrise (they are having a fab couple of years aren't they?).
That's it. Takes me about 8 - 10 mins from start to finish. I finish off with my Scandinavia makeup setting spray and run out the door.
I hope you liked the look, I really like the light and airy feel of it and the fresh face.
Gorgeous look ! I love the lipcolour !
