What attracted me to this product was firstly the brand. Korres is a greek brand, known for using natural ingredients and I am a huge huge fan of their body butters. Secondly the idea of a sleeping facial was appealing as I like to believe that our skin and bodies are the most relaxed when we are sleeping and so the effects of a treatment at night would be greater.
I love the glass jar that the cream comes in (although I would have preferred a tube - more hygienic), and you get 40 ml for $48. So it's pricey but you don't need a whole lot every night and my jar is still going strong. I am not a huge fan of the smell which burns my nose slightly. It's a vague rose scent but smells artificial and more like medicine. Sorry I'm utterly rubbish at describing scents.
I started using the Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial (what a mouthful!) last winter and my initial reactions to this product weren't good. I found that it really dried out my skin. Winters in Chicago are brutal on the skin and mine gets really really dry anyway and then when you slap on this product, well lets say I wasn't happy. But I had paid $48 for it, and I was not going to chuck it out, no sir, not at that price!! In the winter I was using this twice a week, and I wasn't seeing enough brightening to be in love with this stuff, so I decided to give it a miss for a few months and started using it in the summer.
My skin is normal combination in the summer, which means that this Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial does not dry me out at all. I can use it 4 times a week and I am wowed by the way my face looks in the morning. My skin looks well for the lack of a better word - glowing. I am going to use this one up and am scarily contemplating getting another jar if I cannot find a better alternative.
My advice would be as with any new skincare product, do a patch test, somewhere discreet. Try and get a sample (in the US, Sephora carries this product and the lovely ladies working there are happy to depot some of this into tiny pots for you to sample, just have to ask). If you have dry skin, stay away. This product will dry out your skin like nothing else. If you have normal, combination or oily skin, this is a great brightening night cream. I am sold on the results, even though it is over priced in my opinion.
So all in all the verdict is that if you want a brightening effect without having to use a mask, this is a great night cream. I like it.
I'd love to try this!!

Awww thanks Madeline, I really appreciate the feedback. It is a good product, I think there should be more instructions with it. I don't think they have enough literature with the jar.
