The Menu - Bobbi Brown

I thought I'd start a new series called Brand of the month, and this month I thought we'd start with an iconic brand - Bobbi Brown. My mum uses Bobbi Brown products a lot and she loves how consistently impressed she is by their products. I only own 2 things by Bobbi Brown and one of them I bought recently through a blog sale so I got it for a significantly reduced price.

The first is a face palette for eyes and cheeks in the shade Smoke, which I believe was limited edition, but you can find on ebay for about $30. I must admit that it was the blushes that attracted me first to this palette. The colours are wonderful and the colour pay off is decent. Actually I think the fact that these blushes are not crazily pigmented might work in favour of any make up novices out there as it's quite difficult to over do these. The eye colours are gorgeous and blend easily. I can tell that this palette is going to be my go to whenever I am traveling as it combines a few neutral eye shadows and wearable blushes into one easy to carry case. Fabulous product and design. In fact for $30 on ebay it's a steal.

The other product is their cult classic and the one I have loved for over a year, it's their corrector and my shade is Peach, which you can find at Sephora for $23. I have the legendary under eye dark circles that many Asian women seem to be blessed with  :) However, I find that most days I can get away with just dabbing this beauty under my eyes and not using any concealer at all! Amazing!! If I did want to look perfect, I would use this first and then top it off with a concealer (I recommend The Balm concealer Time Balm and my shade is medium deep).

I am so impressed with the quality and the availability of Bobbi Brown products (I believe you can find them in most of Asia now) that I am sure you will be seeing more of this brand in the future on this blog :)

Face Palette for eyes and cheeks - Eye shadows L to R - Bone, Smoke, Dusk; Blushes L to R (Pink Rose, Pale Pink), Corrector (Peach)
Have you tried any of her other products? Which ones do you recommend? Also, which brand would you like to see featured next month?

    1. Hey Masha,

I am going to do a post on how to find bargains out there. I had a great experience with buying from a blog sale. I have only done it once so far but if you stick to legitimate blogs you should be fine.

Thanks again for visiting. I think you might be one of my first blogger friends :) xxx

  2. The only BB products I've used is their foundations. Their shade range was fab as I've struggled finding a shade that would compliment my asian skin tone.

    1. Hi Gemma thanks for visiting! Yeah I heard that the foundations are a good bed, think I may have to try. My current favourite foundation is the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup, it's quite a mouthful but is a fab foundation for combination skin.
