Ipsy Glambag February 2014

Since I received my January Ipsy bag 10 days ago I was shocked to see another pink envelope in my post box yesterday! But once I got over my happy shock I couldn't wait to get stuck in and see what Ipsy had sent me, and I'm not disappointed. I hope you like this bag as well.

Just a quick note for any new readers, I subscribe to Ipsy which is a monthly beauty subscription service which is currently only available in the States. The monthly cost is $10 including postage. Usually they include 5 items and one of them is a full size. What I love about Ipsy, other than the great value it provides, is that they work with lots of different brands and include a good mixture of skincare, haircare, makeup and nail items in each bag. Most of my bags (I have been a subscriber for over a year) have been balanced and exciting. Another great perk with Ipsy is the actual bags that they send the products in. I know lots of people collect these as they are really good quality and come in such fun colours and finishes. Each one is different and I use these as makeup bags.

Now let's take a look at my February Ipsy Glam bag -

Ipsy Glambag February 2014

A full size Zoya nail polish in the shade Odette ($9)!! Wooo. I'm in love with this shade and I adore Zoya polishes.

Another full size product! This time a great Be Matte Blush from City Color in the shade Fresh Melon. I have never heard of this brand but I love that they are cruelty free. I also absolutely love this shade and I don't think I own a similar shade matte blush. A quick gander on Ipsy's website allowed me to find out that they make these blushes in 9 shades and are only $2.99 each for a staggering 8.9 grams of product! I am going to buy them all. Haha. If you are looking to buy anything from the City Color website you can get 20% off with this code 14IPSY20.

My skincare item this month is a sample of the Skyn Iceland Fresh Start Mask ($39 for 6 applications) which is a 2 step mask to improve lack lustre skin. I am really excited to try this.

I also received my first false eyelashes from Ipsy. These are from a brand that Ipsy introduced me to called J Cat Beauty. I really like the shape of these lashes, they might be a little too fluttery for me but I am willing to use them nonetheless. I do like the price though, these retail for $3.99 and if you are looking to buy from J Cat Beauty there is a code eyeluvjcat which gives you 25% off your order.

The last product is the Pop Beauty's Plump Pout mini (half size) in Fushcia Freesia which is a vibrant pink. These retail for $16 for 0.3 oz. I am not into plumping lip glosses but am willing to try this.

Lastly I wanted to share this month's bag design with you. I absolutely adore the inside print!! Are you an ipsy subscriber? If not you must join! It's great.
