The Menu - Samples I am working through

I wanted to do a post on May favourites as you can see on most other blogs, but I thought I'd do this post about a few deluxe samples I am working through. I haven't included the tiny samples that are just too small to make a significant difference. Some of these I have just started using while others are coming to an end soon, but all of these are worth a mention. So lets go through these..

a. Healthy Sexy Hair (25 ml) - This is a nourishing styling treatment. You only need a small amount to soften  and moisturise your hair. I use this every day, but I don't love the packaging, takes forever to get the product out but it's easier if you unscrew that cap. You can get the full sized bottle here for $21.95.

b. The Porefessional by Benefit (15 ml) - I used my Sephora points to get this and I was not expecting miracles and to be honest, I like it, but I have pores the size of Grand Canyon on my face so a primer can only do so much :) You can buy it here for $30.00 for 30 ml.

c. Lancome Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid Face & Eyes (50 ml) - I really love cleansing fluids and I think Lancome does great cleansers. I love this, cleans without drying the face out. You can get it here for $40.00 for 400 ml.

d. Clinique Comforting Cream Cleanser (30 ml) - Another company which does great cleansers is Clinque. This one is my current favourite. If I didn't have enough cleansers to last me a lifetime, I would purchase the full size of this. You can find it here for $19.50 150 ml.

e. Clinique Turnaround 15 minute facial (15 ml) - This is basically a thin clay mask that dries almost clear (great for flights?!) and you just wash it off or you can do what I do which is to use a muslin cloth to take the mask off. This can be found here for $37.50 for 50 ml.

f. Chloe See by Chloe (4 ml) - I fell in love with the packaging of this, it looks like a little test tube.. I was even willing to overlook the lack of a nozzle. But the perfume is just OK, I prefer the original Chloe scent. This is a little too fruity for me, I prefer floral scents, but feel free to try it yourself as I am notoriously bad at describing perfumes! You can get it here for $58.00 30 ml.

g. Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup (in Beige) - It's no secret, I love Clinique foundations. I have tried several over the years. I recently featured the Super balanced makeup foundation in my Empties #1 post. But I think this foundation may be my new favourite Clinique foundation. It's thick (as you can see below) but blends beautifully (I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, part of their Core Collection) and gives a light to medium coverage. It is buildable though and does not look cakey. It's a nice natural finish (not too Matte or Dewy) and it lasts on me for a good 8 hours. I thoroughly recommend getting yourself a sample from any Clinique counter, they are super helpful there. This is my second sample!! You can find it here for $27.00 for 30 ml.

I will do the favourites for May soon, until then ciao my lovelies! :)
